Sunday, April 30th marked the conclusion of the Port Townsend Pétanque Alliance's Spring Doubles League. For the last five weeks teams from the PTPA have been competing for the top spot in the league and for a coveted spot on the plaque hanging in our clubhouse.

At 1:30 the games began with the semifinals. Number 1 seeds Bob and Scott played number 4 Blair and Tony. Number 2 seeds Bekah and Silas played number 3 Michael and Sam.

Team Bekah and Silas and Team Bob and Scott prevailed and went on to face each other in the finals. After a well-fought match Silas and Bekah came out on top, winning the tournament, a trophy, and a cash prize (as well as the aforementioned inscription on the plaque of champions).
